The entire course is split into two modules:
Module -I ( June to April) 10 Months’ Programme
In this module candidates are prepared for Essay, General Studies and Optional Subjects comprehensively for both Preliminary and Main examinations duly distributing emphasis between the two. Preparation for Essay and General Studies follow systematic dossier method with discussion and practice sessions designed for development of knowledge and skills in writing. Indian polity and culture, Aspects of Constitution, Parliament and its processes, Government budget and public finance, History of modern India, Indian Geography, Indian Economy, Globalisation, International Institutions, Current national and world affairs, Developments in science and technology, Human Rights, Women empowerment, Other topics of social relevance- these and more are extensively covered. Statistical analysis also. Invitation talks by experts will be a special feature. Besides there will be induction sessions in social ethics, personal morality, secular values, life style orientations, behavioral etiquette and inter-personal attitudes. Less of teaching for more of study will be the style.
Module -II (June-September) 4 Months’ Programme
It is primarily for intensive study of optional subjects, without neglecting Essay and General Studies. Candidates can chose optional subjects that are best suited for them. Though there are over forty subjects in the Union Public Service Commission’s list, the disposition of the candidate, according to education and aptitude, is crucial in the personal choice of subjects.
1. Foundation Course: The foundation course is for +1 & +2 students. Preparing for Civil Services Examination at school stages are sure to reap rich dividends as the students can prepare for the General studies paper on a long term basis. The course will enable them to broaden their knowledge horizon and thereby enhance the capabilities required for thriving in the modern competitive world.
2. Orientation course : Civil Services examination requires a thorough analysis of an optional subject combined with a deep understanding of the General Studies topics. The Orientation course is for the degree and post graduate students who will be oriented to prepare their optional subjects at their curricular level itself; and the general studies preparation will be done through the intensive inputs provided by Naipunnya Academy.
3. Evening/Weekend courses:
This is meant for intelligent aspirants who would find it difficult to spare long hours daily exclusively for the preparation for Civil Services Examination owing to their employment elsewhere or other curricular engagements. For such eligible aspirants the Academy offers courses in the evening and at week ends. These classes will be commencing as soon as sufficient number of students enroll.
Political science and International Relations
Who can apply?
Graduates and Post-graduates in any discipline are encouraged to apply. Those with higher qualifications over these are also free to apply .Consistent merit in examinations from class 10 will count. Co-curricular achievements in debating, elocution, quiz, etc. earn plus points.

Mode of Admission
Admission will be based on entrance test and Personality Test apart from the statutory eligibility requirements.

Having due regard to the social obligations; the Academy will strive to ensure that no student with the required merit will go unattended for want of funds. The Academy would definitely consider scholarship assistance on a case to case basis. Even though fee is fixed for each module, we are proactively looking at taking deserving poor students who can avail our fee concessions through scholarships.
